Praise for Young Tribes

Kitty, 15, Student At Wimbledon High School

“I Loved Learning How To Approach A Brief With A Team And More About How Advertising Works. But What Was Amazing Was To See All The Female Role Models. All Our Classes At School Were Very Male Dominated – Even The Media Theorists Are Male Dominated, And There Was Definitely Not Enough Female Representation.”

Praise for Young Tribes

Julia Kibela, Subject Coordinator, Media Studies At Petchey Academy

“Young Tribes Really Gave Them An Understanding Of What It’s Like To Work In A Business And Showed Them That Jobs Can Actually Be Fun. They Will Definitely Take What They Have Learned Back To Their School And It Will Give Them So Much Confidence. These Sorts Of Days Are Invaluable To Students.”

Speakeasy Launch Event At Bafta - Making Sound a 360 Degree Masterpiece

By using a binaural microphone and giving 360 headphones to every audience member we created a totally unique sound experience.

Based around a recording of the history of recorded voice, an actor (vala in game of thrones) delivered a monologue telling the story of these recordings from 1880 to present day.

As she spoke and the recordings played the sound moved around the audiences’ heads – so when they heard Neil Armstrong’s famous line, it came from the roof of the famous theatre.
