Wildstorm PR are great to work with and they are are a really valued and integral member of our team.
Their great strength is that they are creative so understand the sensibilities of a company like our own. They flex all the way from overall PR strategy, right the way down into tactical opportunities. Likewise, they are very comfortable with the modern comms landscape without chasing technology for the sake of it (he's helped us develop and produce our first podcast and made sure it wasn't just more airtime filler, for example). Most of all, they get our tone and way of doing things, which makes it all effortless. Oh - and they're just a really people!
Wildstorm PR are absolutely brilliant to work with. They have demonstrated not only a really deep understanding of our specialist area of sport and fitness, they have really got under the skin of our needs and hopes as a business. They know when they need to step in and help, and when they can just send us off in the right direction in terms of written pieces. They can garner traction from both trade and consumer titles, and are consistently proactive in making things happen. And crucially, they are wonderful people, who cheer me up every time we chat.
You want me to write you a testimonial? Not a chance. Competitive edge is crucial in this game. I don’t want all the other buggers knowing about you. Mate. Forget it. Anyway, where are we with that bellwether report…..”
We have been working with Noel and Wildstorm PR for over a year now. In that time he has become an invaluable member of the Forever Beta team. He's added a level of strategy, organisation and responsiveness that we was previously missing. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
I've worked with Noel since the inception of Female Tribes, and I have to say he's awesome. Noel's energy, commitment and enthusiasm is infectious, and his wry sense of humour kept me sane over the years. He couples humility and teamwork with a genuine desire to promote great work, and do good at the same time: he's a rare breed in this business. His Young Tribes initiative is brilliant and has genuinely shaped the horizons of hundreds of pupils around the country, inspiring them with strong female role models and making them believe they too could have a career in the creative industry: kudos to Noel.
Noel doesn’t just take notes and regurgitate an opinion for you; he makes sure he understands the topic, asks insightful questions that draw thoughts out and adds insights. His understanding of advertising is fantastic, but his dedication to, and knowledge, of gender issues in the industry are second to none and a breath of fresh air. He writes quickly, intelligently, and importantly, in a human way.
Noel is a generous and enthusiastic collaborator and was a brilliant PR partner to my team when launching our trends research. As well as a solid understanding of the research, he has a sharp eye for insights and pulling out the most newsworthy nuggets, not to mention polishing up prose. He did a fantastic job pulling together a sophisticated, sleek event at BAFTA for the launch of our Speak Easy report with guest speakers, an expert panel as well as in interactive performance. He is unflappable, unfailingly supportive and just lovely to work with. Highly recommend!
Noel worked at Velvet for a year as a Senior Account Director. His background in PR and journalism make him a brilliant all-rounder who understands the pressures of modern PR and content from both sides of the fence.
It means that he not only generates insightful, well thought out and interesting ideas for campaigns, features or opinion pieces, but ensures they always sit snugly in the client’s news cycle. He can do this proactively or reactively and has an extensive little black.
One of his greatest skills as a writer is to be able to take dense or complex concepts from short minimal briefings and make them easy to understand, but also deliver them in the client’s voice (often without ever meeting them in the flesh).
He understands client and account pressures and how to deal with them quickly and effectively. He was also always eager and willing to invest time in the younger team members.
Noel wrote our last Launch Marketing Council white paper. Her eally got to the root of what we were trying to achieve, so much so he's chairing and writing the next one in September. He's very easy and accommodating to work with and produces some fantastic work. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
